ANTHEM for KOSOVO
A new Anthem for Kosovo was released
on April 14, 1999, titled
"Between a Rock and a Heart Place". This heartfelt
contemporary anthem was written and released for the
benefit of Albanian refugees in Kosovo who suffered
incredible abuse at the hands of the Serbs. All profits
from the sale of this CD single will be donated to major
relief organizations such as World Vision who are, at
this very moment, feeding and caring for children and
families in Albania and Macedonia refugee camps. Please
join us in support of this new song (which will be linked
here soon) by calling your radio station and requesting
it. More information and related links will be available
soon at this address. The CD began shipping on April 13th
to news networks and radio stations.
From the songwriters of the classic
hit "Cry Me a River" and the #1 top-40 child abuse
anthem, "Dear Mr. Jesus" comes a song that relates to the
crime and pain these refugees are currently enduring.
Please share a copy of the lyric with others.

Between a Rock & A Heart Place
(Anthem for Kosovo)
There's a broken heart for every shot
that rings through Kosovo
There's a sinking ship of dreams down
the muddy ration line
They stole your pride, they burned
your homes, and drove you out of Kosovo
You've used up all your luck and
you're running out of time
Lost in a world where children's
dreams are sold and bought
There's nowhere left to turn as long
as you are caught
Between a Rock and a Heart
Place
Longing for your home but you're not
welcome anymore
Between a Rock and a Heart
Place
Running for your life, a broken
refugee of war
You hide in no-man's land or head for
Macedonia
But no matter where you go you're a
victim of their crime
You walk the railroad track, with
crying children on your back
Pushed down for so long you don't know
how to climb
The guns of fear and anger have driven
you so far
Each step a cold reminder home is
never where you are
Between a Rock and a Heart
Place
Longing for your home but you're not
welcome anymore
Between a Rock and a Heart
Place
Running for your life, a hungry
refugee of war
I don't know how you keep on shining
through the rain
Hostages of hope..... Prisoners of
pain
Between a Rock and a Heart
Place
Longing for your home but you're not
welcome anymore....
Between a Rock and a Heart
Place
Running for your life, a lonely
refugee of war
